Top 10 of 2014

Happy 2015 Party People!

True story, I've pulled back a bit because I just can't keep up with Gigi.  She's constantly picking up fun things and she has this great Splash of Lime booth right on Main Street in Mount Airy.  She's forever updating her inventory, moving things around, and spending time in what has become one of her happiest places.

Nonetheless, as long as Gigi keeps finding, I'll try my best to keep blogging.  I hope you'll keep reading and forgive me when I disappear for weeks at a time.  One reason I will continue to blog (and it's a very selfish reason) is that I love to document the coolest pieces Gigi procures.  And so, in celebration of the past year, I'd like to share my favorite pieces of 2014.

2014 proved to be the year of the terrarium.
You all seemed to love these brass + glass pretties as much as I did, quickly scooping up all the ones we posted.  The size and shape of this one won me over!

True story.  We've sold several federal mirrors and I don't own a single one.   This one was maybe the most perfect one I've ever seen and in my dreams, it lives in the warmest library among my favorite leather bound books.

I can't say no to a bench.  Ever.  End of story.

The possibilities for this brass tray were endless.  Perfume bottles on a vanity.  Liquor bottles on a bar.  Either way, I thought it was absolutely perfect.

Please refer to #8.  My love for benches multiplies when they come in pairs.

These Dogwood Bookends reflected my love for the Old North State in perfect brass form.  They belong in the library described in #9.

This Antique Drop-Leaf Table is perfectly traditional.
Bring on the blue and white and a fantastic Oriental rug.

This faux bamboo mirror.  Over a buffet.  It's the kind of thing dreams are made of.

If I had china, well then this is the kind of piece I'd want in my dining room.

And finally, this Tassel Bar Cart is the most incredible bar cart we've ever had.  Those tassels y'all!

And then, because I can't stop...
a bonus...

No Splash of Lime list would ever be complete without a little blue and white!
I loved this huge Temple Jar!

What are y'all looking for in 2015?  Any cravings Gigi can help to satisfy?
